From March 7th-9th, 2014, Cracked Monocle will be setting up shop at one of the fastest growing gaming events in Texas, THE SXSW GAMING EXPO!

Press Release:

Austin, TX: Cracked Monocle, a tabletop gaming company out of Austin Texas, will be attending the SXSW Gaming Expo from March 7th-9th, 2014, at the Palmer Event Center in Austin Texas. With approximately 40,000 attendees in 2013, Cracked Monocle looks to use the event to expose their games to a wider audience.

Cracked Monocle has been demoing their games at conventions for the past two years, but the SXSW Gaming Expo marks a new level of exposure that the company has not seen before. Daniel Burrow, the company’s owner, stated, “We are really looking forward to SXSW. It gives us the opportunity to not only reach an entirely new audience, but also, for the first time, show off our games at a highly publicized event.”

With the growing success of their tabletop role-playing game, Tephra: the Steampunk RPG, SXSW is just one of the strategies that the company is employing to grow their player base, including a new website and several contracts with distributors around the country.

The SXSW Gaming Expo is a free event that is open to the public.
